While some retailers were offering preorder discounts on the remastered Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, it’s not too late to save if you missed out. Costco members can currently get $5 off the digital version online, bringing the price down to $54.99. Considering an annual Costco membership runs $65, that discount almost offsets one month of your plan — a prime example of “gamer math.”
My colleague Andrew Webster recently shared his thoughts on Nintendo’s latest Switch 2 exclusive, noting how impressed he was with how much impact a few modern quality-of-life changes had on what is otherwise a classic experience. The updated graphics are as thoughtful as they are beautiful, pairing realistic scenery with puppet-like characters. Perhaps, more importantly, Link can now jump anytime he likes, rather than being limited to specific ledges.
