Logitech: 3 Key Takeaways for Long-Term Investors

November 5, 2026 · by TPW Pipeline

On its second-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings call, held on Oct. 27, 2026, Logitech (LOGI +7.83%) announced a 2% constant-currency net sales increase and $231 million in non-GAAP (adjusted) operating income. Market share gains across core peripherals and sustained demand for workplace video gear continue to protect profitability during a broader downturn in personal computer shipments. Three things management said stand out.

1. Outperforming PC Market Declines Through Installed Base Strategy

Logitech increased sales of pointing devices and keyboards while global personal computer (PC) shipments shrank 20%. Rather than relying on new computer purchases, the business expands market share by selling upgraded peripherals directly to the existing installed base.

And even as global PC shipments declined by 20% in the quarter, our pointing devices and keyboards grew mid-single digits, demonstrating that our growth opportunity continues to come from the large installed PC base.

2. Corporate Office Mandates Fuel Video Collaboration Expansion

Net sales in video collaboration (VC) grew 12% in constant currency during the second quarter. Mandated return-to-office policies and mandatory upgrades for aging hardware continue to create non-discretionary enterprise demand.

Three trends are contributing to the strong VC growth. The post-COVID refresh wave, office footprint expansion as companies require more days in office, and AI-driven VC room expansion.

3. Supply Chain Agility Limits Impact From Component Disruption

An accident at a third-party semiconductor supplier threatened to disrupt up to $200 million in sales. Operational workarounds reduced the third-quarter top-line headwind to between $70 million and $80 million, with normal operations returning by the fourth quarter.

By the fourth quarter, we expect the impact of the supplier incident to be largely resolved.

Looking Ahead

Meeting room upgrades remain firm while high-end demand protects profitability. Manufacturing diversification and pricing discipline help absorb rising freight and component costs.

We now expect fiscal year 2027 non-GAAP operating income margin to be at the high end of our long-term 15% to 18% range, even excluding the $61 million tariff refunds from last quarter.
— Matteo Anversa, Chief Financial Officer

Innovation across personal workspace and gaming categories continues to drive long-term expansion.

We’re proud of the innovative, strong and resilient business and organization we have today, and we’re super excited for the growth that lies ahead in the next 45 years.
