Sportradar: 3 Key Takeaways for Long-Term Investors

November 4, 2026 · by TPW Pipeline

On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Nov. 3, 2026, Sportradar (SRAD +10.33%) highlighted 24% year-over-year revenue growth driven by expansion into prediction markets and content integration. Long-term investors care because expanding into adjacent financial ecosystems scales revenue without adding heavy infrastructure costs. Three things management said stand out.

1. Prediction Markets Open a High-Margin Growth Channel

Sports prediction markets present a fast-growing avenue alongside traditional sports betting. By supplying official data feeds to exchanges, brokers, and market makers, the company taps new revenue streams while using its existing infrastructure.

Entering the prediction markets require minimal incremental investment. We are using the same rights, the same technology, and the same teams that already power our betting business.
— Carsten Koerl, Chief Executive Officer

2. IMG Arena Rights Integration Exceeds Synergy Targets

Integrating major sports rights portfolios often carries execution risks, but one year after acquiring IMG Arena, management has combined operations and monetized premium golf and martial arts content across its customer base.

And one year in, we have successfully integrated and monetized the largest sports rights portfolio acquisition in our space.

3. Divestitures Sharpen Core Focus and Fund Share Buybacks

Management agreed to sell Atrium Sports, a coaching and scouting business, for $170 million to streamline operations around core sports data. The proceeds strengthen the balance sheet and fund share repurchases.

Last month, we announced the sale of Atrium Sports, the coaching and scouting business of Synergy Sports, to Teamworks Innovations for $170 million.

Looking Ahead

Demand for real-time sports data continues to climb across media platforms, streaming services, and emerging trading hubs. Scaled data rights and proprietary processing technology create operating leverage as trading volumes build.

Overall, the investments we have made in content, technology, and product to leverage the global scale we have developed continue to deliver strong financial results.
— Craig I. Felenstein, Chief Financial Officer

Growth remains anchored in long-term rights lockups, international expansion, and disciplined capital allocation. Expanding high-margin technology services into emerging formats sets up sustained financial momentum.

This will enable us to deliver robust growth in the months and years ahead.
