Bandwidth: 3 Key Takeaways for Long-Term Investors

November 1, 2026 · by TPW Pipeline

On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 29, 2026, Bandwidth (BAND -10.86%) reported record revenue of $234 million. For long-term investors, the company demonstrated that its global network infrastructure positions it to capture growing demand as businesses adopt voice artificial intelligence. Three things management said stand out.

1. Enterprise Deal Wins Provide High Visibility Into Fiscal 2027 Growth

Enterprise contract wins give the company predictable multiyear revenue as large customers deploy services in phases. Management tracks annual contract value (ACV) to measure the annual recurring value of these customer commitments.

Specifically, we have signed 11 deals greater than $1 million of ACV since the start of the year, and they are deploying in phases and will layer into our results over the next 12 months.

2. Infrastructure Ownership Protects Margins From Artificial Intelligence Costs

By owning its global telecommunications network, the business monetizes call volume rather than software seats and avoids computing fees for artificial intelligence (AI) model inference. Bandwidth refers to conversational voice AI as super intelligence, or SI, which increases call volume across its network.

Our price is set by network value and trust, not seat count. Our model is usage based. Usage has always been our model, and SI is driving more of it. Every call or text runs across our network.
— David Morken, Chief Executive Officer

3. Global Carrier Partnerships Extend Software Reach Across International Markets

Integration partnerships allow enterprise clients to use bring-your-own-carrier, or BYOC, models that connect existing telecom providers directly to cloud software. Software services, including Maestro, Bandwidth’s visual software orchestration layer for routing voice workflows, exited the quarter at over $30 million in annual recurring revenue, or ARR.

With Salesforce, in September, we announced the expansion of our collaboration with Bandwidth named as the first certified carrier to support the global rollout of Salesforce’s native contact center.

Looking Ahead

Operational execution is expanding profitability alongside top-line growth. Adjusted EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, rose 43% year over year as operating leverage took hold. Management is focusing on network reliability, international regulatory compliance, and pricing discipline to capture growing voice volume.

Adjusted EBITDA margin reached a record 22%, demonstrating the scalability of our business model and our ability to convert revenue growth into meaningful profit expansion.
— Daryl Raiford, Chief Financial Officer

Management expects Enterprise Voice growth to compound over the coming quarters, driven by expanding customer contracts and network usage.

We see the fourth quarter of 2026 as the turning point in our growth rates this year, with momentum building throughout 2027, and that confidence rests on what is already in hand.
