Rogers: 3 Key Takeaways for Long-Term Investors

October 28, 2026 · by TPW Pipeline

On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 27, 2026, Rogers announced sales of $236.1 million, up 9% year over year. Higher sales volume and structural cost reductions expanded operating margins to a five-year high. Three things management said stand out.

1. Data Center Design Wins Drive High-Growth Expansion

Securing design wins in server tray protection and high-speed digital circuitry positions Rogers directly inside next-generation artificial intelligence data centers. High compressibility and noise-isolation capabilities create strong technical switching costs because customer testing and validation require multiple generations of prototyping before commercial launch.

In data centers, a major end user selected our silicon materials to safeguard sensitive components within the server tray.

2. Operational Cost Cuts Accelerate Earnings Growth

A multiyear cost restructuring initiative generated higher profit margins across all operating segments as sales volume expanded. Management leveraged factory utilization gains and lower operating expenses to drive a 54% year-over-year surge in adjusted EPS, which measures net income per share adjusted for non-recurring items.

The 54% year over year increase in adjusted EPS resulted from strong sales, improved margins and favorability in the tax rate, as we continue to improve business performance across all jurisdictions.
— Laura Russell, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

3. Sales Pacing Ahead of Investor Day Targets

Customer demand across core industrial, automotive, and electronics end markets expanded faster than management’s baseline expectations. Commercial execution accelerated annual revenue growth to 9% during the quarter, nearly doubling the 5% multiyear target outlined at the company’s recent investor conference.

We indicated organic growth of about 5% per year during our investor day. And now it is at about 9% in Q3, 9% in Q4.

Looking Ahead

Ordering momentum is building across data center and automotive applications. Deep technical integration and proprietary material formulations strengthen the company’s competitive advantage while leadership focuses on factory utilization and pricing discipline.

In summary, our fourth quarter outlook reflects continued year over year improvement in sales, adjusted EPS and adjusted EBITDA margin as we execute our commercial and operating initiatives.
— Laura Russell, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Accelerating design wins and disciplined balance sheet management position the business for multiyear earnings growth.

Our strategy is centered on leveraging Rogers’ proven capabilities and deep customer relationships to grow in core markets and advance high potential adjacent opportunities. With disciplined execution and a healthy balance sheet, we believe we are well-positioned to translate these opportunities into stronger earnings and shareholder returns.
