Reddit COO Jennifer Wong Offloads $9.7 Million in Stock as Shares Trade Well Below Year-Ago Levels

Reddit Chief Operating Officer Jennifer L. Wong disclosed the sale of 60,000 shares of Class A Common Stock in a Form 4 filing dated September 14, 2026, per an SEC submission. Based on the weighted average sale price of $162.33 reported in the filing, the transaction was valued at roughly $9.7 million.

The disclosure arrives during a difficult stretch for the social platform’s shares, which have lost about 36% of their value over the past twelve months. Reddit stock closed at $155.80 on September 14 and has slipped further since, trading at $154.46 in the latest session, down 0.86%. The company’s market capitalization currently stands at approximately $34.9 billion, placing it in the Communication Services sector among internet content and information companies.

Context: A Profitable Platform in a Volatile Market

Despite the stock’s decline, Reddit’s underlying business has shown considerable momentum. The company reported trailing-twelve-month revenue of $2.8 billion, a figure that underscores how successfully it has converted its sprawling network of user-run communities into advertising and subscription income. Reddit remains one of the largest community-driven destinations on the internet, with millions of specialized forums generating substantial user engagement.

Executive share sales are common and can occur for a variety of personal financial reasons, including diversification, tax planning, or pre-scheduled trading plans. Filings of this type do not by themselves indicate a change in an executive’s outlook on the business.

The sale also comes as broader market activity shows pockets of strength elsewhere in the technology supply chain. Semiconductor and electronics manufacturer TTM Technologies, for instance, gained 8.47% in recent trading to $125.60, highlighting the divergence in performance across tech subsectors.

For Reddit, investor attention in recent months has centered on whether advertising demand and data-licensing arrangements can sustain revenue growth and push the company toward consistent profitability — factors that will shape how the market values the platform after the past year’s share-price retreat.

What to watch

  • Reddit’s next quarterly earnings report and any updates to revenue guidance
  • Additional insider Form 4 filings from Reddit executives or directors
  • Developments in advertising pricing and data-licensing partnerships
