Nebius Shares Jump on Report of AI Infrastructure Price Increases

Shares of Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS) climbed Thursday after a report indicated the AI infrastructure provider is raising prices on some of its offerings. The stock changed hands at $226.39 in recent trading, up 7.98% from the prior close of $209.65, giving the company a market capitalization of roughly $52.4 billion.

Nebius, which counts NVIDIA among its backers, operates as a so-called neocloud — a company that builds full-stack infrastructure for artificial intelligence workloads, including large-scale GPU clusters and cloud services. The Amsterdam-headquartered firm serves customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other international markets.

Price increases, if confirmed, would add a new dimension to the intensifying competition among providers of AI compute capacity. As demand for GPU-powered training and inference continues to strain supply across the industry, neocloud operators have found themselves in a strong negotiating position with enterprises and AI labs seeking capacity that the largest hyperscalers cannot always provide quickly.

The move also underscores Nebius’s rapid transformation. The company, which emerged from the assets of the former Yandex holding structure, has repositioned itself as one of the more prominent independent players in the AI infrastructure buildout, with NVIDIA’s investment signaling confidence in its data center strategy.

NVIDIA itself slipped 0.73% to $223.67 on the day, but the semiconductor giant remains central to Nebius’s business model: as the dominant supplier of data center accelerators, NVIDIA benefits from the fleet expansions of neocloud customers like Nebius, which deploy its GPUs at scale for enterprise and research clients.

Thursday’s gains came despite broader choppiness in AI-related names, suggesting investors viewed pricing power as a meaningful signal about demand conditions in the AI compute market. Whether Nebius can sustain higher pricing without pushing customers toward competitors remains an open question as capacity from multiple providers comes online over the coming quarters.

What to watch

  • Nebius’s next quarterly earnings report, which may provide details on pricing changes, customer contracts, and capacity utilization.
  • Any official confirmation or company commentary on the reported price increases.
  • NVIDIA’s upcoming earnings and guidance, which shape sentiment across the GPU ecosystem.
  • Announcements regarding new data center capacity and GPU cluster deployments from Nebius.
