TTM Technologies locks in $500 million debt raise with 2034 senior notes priced at 6.75%

Printed circuit board maker TTM Technologies has priced a $500 million offering of senior notes carrying a 6.750% coupon and maturing in 2034, according to a newly released announcement.

The raise gives the PCB specialist a decade-long financing runway, a structure often used by hardware companies to refinance nearer-dated obligations or bankroll capital-intensive expansion. TTM’s business — which supplies advanced circuit boards to aerospace, defense, and data-center customers — has benefited from elevated demand tied to networking and AI infrastructure buildouts, and debt issuance at a fixed rate provides certainty on interest costs through the mid-2030s.

Market reaction to the pricing was notably positive. Shares of TTMI closed the session at $125.60, up 8.47% from the prior close of $115.79, lifting the company’s market capitalization to roughly $13.23 billion.

A coupon of 6.750% reflects the current cost of credit for mid-cap technology hardware issuers, where rates remain well above the near-zero levels seen in the early 2020s. For a company with meaningful manufacturing footprints across North America and Asia, locking in terms now removes refinancing uncertainty for the next ten years.

The notes’ proceeds and final closing terms will be detailed in the company’s official documentation, and investors typically watch whether the offering includes standard covenants and any provisions for early redemption.

What to watch

  • Closing date and final terms of the notes offering, including use-of-proceeds details in the offering documents.
  • TTM’s next quarterly earnings report, where management commentary on capital allocation and leverage is likely.
  • Demand trends in aerospace, defense, and data-center end markets, which drive TTM’s revenue outlook and any forward guidance.
